The new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus models have a really cool feature called 3D Touch that lets you perform app-specific Quick Actions from the home screen for apps that support it. The only downside is that this awesome new feature is not available on older iOS devices.

Since Live Photos are nothing more than a glorified, built-in GIF generator on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to get this "exclusive" feature on an older iPhone. While taking a Live Photo does eat up a lot of processing power, which the A9 chips can handle perfectly, older iPhones can still manager fairly well—no 3D Touch needed. At this point, it'd be surprising if an iPhone release wasn't coupled with some sort of new scandal or controversy; it's gradually becoming Apple's new modus operandi. First, there was antennagate with the iPhone 4. Then it was scuffgate with the iPhone 5. Last year, it was bendgate with the iPhone 6 models. My iphone 4 always shuts down even it is not yet drained. And if I plug the charger, charging works but the Drained Battery Sign still showed and if I remove the charger, it's still battery drained.
