When the new iOS 6 came out a few months ago, I was pumped because I finally would get Siri on my iPhone 4. Having the automated voice assistant readily available on my phone would be cool, even if I probably wouldn't use it all that much.

As if there weren't already enough problems with the iPhone 5, now the new Lightning USB cable is reportedly getting stuck in USB power adapters and computer ports. The newer Lightning cables have deeper divots and a slightly thinner mouth on the USB plug than the old 30-pin cables did, so the cable can get stuck inside your USB port.

To say that I am disappointed with the new Maps application in iOS 6 is an understatement. And it seems like the rest of the world is with me, so I needed to find a solution—and quick. Installing the Google Maps web application is a nice quick-fix, but those looking for a beefier navigation solution should check out one of these free map apps.

With iOS 6 coming out yesterday, there were bound to be plenty of glitches. iPhone users filled Apple's forums with complaints, with battery drainage issues leading the way. Many users complained of rapidly increasing battery drainage after updating to iOS 6, specifically with the iPhone 4S.

Apple announced earlier this week that the official release date for iOS 6 will be September 19, but why wait when you can get it now? The Gold Master developer version was made available on Wednesday, and it's the same file as the final version that's going to be released to users on the 19th. Anyone can download it, so if you want to avoid being part of the frenzy on Wednesday when everyone else is trying to get it too, it may not be a bad idea to get a head start.

I'm just about to get a macbook. I'm wondering if there are "free as in free beer" applications just like on my ubuntu. Does it have equivalent software such as Open Office, Gimp, Camstudio, Any video converter and Audacity on a Mac. Also, is it easy to install ubuntu 10.04  on a new macbook? I go to the vodaphone websit to buy the iphone 4 and after 3 or 4 directs safari tells me there has been to many redirects back to the home page , I have cleared mt cache , no joy , enabled cookies, no joy, disabled cookies no joy . tried to use firefox no joy . very frustrating

In Numbers '09, I'd like to make a chart on one sheet that draws data from multiple tables on multiple sheets. Is this possible? I tried for the longest time and finally gave up. Seems you can only draw data in a chart from multiple tables on the same sheet, not from different sheets. But is there something I'm missing? Anybody know?
