UGREEN Pocket-Sized Chargers for Apple Devices: Specs, Prices, and Trade-Offs

UGREEN on Wednesday announced the Nexode and MagFlow Air Editions, a five-product lineup of pocket-sized chargers for Apple devices priced from $39.99. Two products are confirmed available now in the US: the Nexode Air 65W Charger and the MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 15W, sold through the UGREEN Official Store and Amazon, according to the company's launch release.

The launch adds a portability-first tier to a product line that already includes higher-output MagFlow chargers. The practical question for Apple users is where the tradeoffs land: the Air models cost less and are designed to be as compact as possible, but they give up wireless charging speed compared to UGREEN's existing 25W MagFlow power bank.

All specifications cited below come from UGREEN's own launch materials. No independent charging-speed tests, thermal measurements, or physical dimensions have been published as of this writing.

UGREEN Nexode Air charger and MagFlow Air power bank: the key specs

The lineup spans two categories. The Nexode Air wall chargers include the 65W standard model, a 65W Slim variant, and the Nexode Air 45W Charger Slim. The MagFlow Air power banks come in 10000mAh and 5000mAh versions, both rated at 15W Qi2 wireless. US availability has been confirmed for the Nexode Air 65W and the MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 15W; US launch details for the remaining three products were not disclosed in the release.

The Nexode Air 65W and Nexode Air 45W Charger Slim are each priced at $39.99. The MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 15W is $79.99. Port count, per-port wattage distribution, weight, and physical dimensions were not published alongside the announcement.

Both wall charger models include UGREEN's Thermal Guard temperature management. The power bank runs on premium ATL battery cells and carries Qi2 certification, with a built-in USB-C cable and a second USB-C port for wired output. UGREEN describes the combination as delivering "seamless on-the-go charging" in a compact form, though no third-party safety testing results have been published to verify Thermal Guard's behavior under sustained load.

UGREEN, founded in 2012, reports a presence in over 180 countries and more than 300 million users served, per the company.

Wall chargers: what the 65W and 45W Slim are designed to do

The Nexode Air 65W is positioned as the lineup's MacBook Air-focused option. UGREEN says it delivers up to 65W of stable fast charging and also provides power for iPhone, iPad, and AirPods. The company has not specified whether that covers simultaneous multi-device charging from a single plug, how many ports the charger includes, or how wattage is distributed when more than one device is connected. Buyers with higher-draw machines such as a 14-inch MacBook Pro should verify compatibility before assuming full-speed delivery from the available specs.

The Nexode Air 45W Charger Slim trades 20W of peak output for a slimmer profile, described by UGREEN as an ultra-portable alternative for users who prioritize form factor. Both models carry the same $39.99 price, so the choice between them comes down to output ceiling versus physical footprint. Neither weight nor dimensions have been disclosed for either model.

How the MagFlow Air 15W power bank compares with UGREEN's earlier 25W MagFlow

The MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 15W offers Qi2-certified wireless charging at 15W, a built-in USB-C cable, and an additional USB-C port. The 5000mAh variant in the same family reduces capacity for the smallest possible carry size.

The relevant comparison is UGREEN's own MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W, launched in September 2025 at $89.99. That model delivers 25W Qi2 wireless charging, which UGREEN said can bring an iPhone 16 Pro Max to around 50% in approximately 30 minutes. It also supports 30W two-way wired charging, can charge three devices simultaneously via UGREEN's SmartCharge system, and includes 13-layer safety protection and a real-time battery display, according to the September 2025 launch release. None of those features were mentioned in the Air Edition announcement, which describes a simpler feature set at a $10 lower price.

The wireless certification gap is also worth noting. The MagFlow Air 10000mAh carries standard Qi2 certification. UGREEN's 25W MagFlow power bank separately earned what the company claimed was the world's first Qi 2.2 certification from the Wireless Power Consortium. Per UGREEN's own documentation, Qi 2.2 builds on Apple's MagSafe magnetic architecture with higher power limits and sets higher standards for thermal control, charging stability, and interoperability compared to the base Qi2 standard. The Air power bank is described as Qi2-certified only; UGREEN has not explained whether the 15W wireless ceiling reflects a hardware constraint, a size compromise, or a deliberate product-tier decision.

Where these products fit in UGREEN's lineup

The Nexode Air 65W is aimed at MacBook Air users who want a single compact charger capable of handling their laptop and other Apple devices. At $39.99, it addresses a common travel scenario without requiring multiple adapters, though the missing port and wattage-distribution details leave some practical questions unanswered.

The Nexode Air 45W Charger Slim is positioned for iPhone, iPad, and AirPods users who want the smallest possible footprint and don't need MacBook-level output. Sharing the same price as the 65W model, it offers a size-first option within the same budget.

The MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 15W sits $10 below UGREEN's 25W MagFlow and fills a different role: portable Qi2 wireless charging for users where pack size and price take priority over maximum wireless speed. Users who want the fastest magnetic wireless output from a power bank, or the three-device simultaneous charging that UGREEN's SmartCharge system enables, are pointed toward the 25W model at $89.99.

The Air lineup does not cover desk or nightstand multi-device charging. That use case is addressed by UGREEN's MagFlow 3-in-1 chargers, which simultaneously charge iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods at 25W and launched separately in September 2025 at $139.99, per the original MagFlow release.

What independent testing will need to establish

Several gaps remain from the launch materials alone. Real-world charging speeds under sustained load, actual thermal behavior from the Thermal Guard system, physical dimensions for direct size comparisons, port count on the wall chargers, and wattage-split behavior with multiple devices connected have not been published. US availability for the Nexode Air 45W Charger Slim, the Nexode Air 65W Charger Slim, and the MagFlow Air 5000mAh has also not been confirmed.

The Air launch suggests UGREEN is building a distinct entry-level portable tier beneath its Qi 2.2-certified and 25W flagships, covering Apple users at a lower price point and with a smaller physical footprint as the primary design goals. Whether the Air models hold up to those claims is a question for hands-on reviews.
